Finding points and creating an argument
ln creating the arguments that go into a moot court competition whether they be an oral argument or written, it's important to understand the audience and the facts that go into the argument. In other words, it's important to know why you're right and how to convince others of that fact. In doing that, the medium of brief writing is important to understand the background of the case and how to utilize that information in writing a full argument. There's even a part of the brief that allows you to organize the parts that help each side of the argument. This allows for the advocacy and persuasion side of the argument that goes into drafting arguments. The briefs below are for two 6th amendment cases that deal with the unavailability of witnesses. These were a part of this years case "Bronner v. State of Olympus."
